I am currently working for a multinational company with focus on Talent, Leadership Development and coaching. In 2004, after completing my Master Degree in the UK, I made a choice to return to Beijing and joined a charity organization that worked to help orphans in welfare institutions across China. At that time, the decision seemed like a detour from my original aspirations. However, it turned out to be a preparation for a cause dear to my heart. My role was the associate director of the Youth Program, a program that experienced dramatic growth and success during my 4 years there. Even after my career change in 2008, I always had a heart for orphans and supported them.
One day, in last quarter of 2020 I knew from the depth of my heart that it was time to take the bold step. With the vision and blueprint I had, I initiated the commencing of Spring Forth Charity International, a name that was inspired by Isaiah 43:18-19 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Starting the charity in Uganda with Pastor Kennedy Ntulume yet again reflects Isaiah 43:18-19. He expanded the vision for orphans and children/youths in need based on his extensive years of experience.
With our visions coming alive, I believe that we can all be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We may
not be able to change the past but we have the gift of the present and unlimited possibilities for the future.
Thank you for joining us to make a difference. Every little kindness counts.
I’m the pastor of Resurrection Healing Ministries International Bweyogere-Uganda, and also heading the operations of Spring Forth Charity International in Uganda. I live here with my wife, 3 children and 5 foster children in my care by the grace God. In 2011, while I was teaching in high school, I was observing gaps with some of the children that I was teaching. This was how my call of supporting orphans began.
I started advocating for the orphans to get support especially from schools and also started taking care of some children. Kids’ welfare, counseling and education to the orphans have been on my heart to do.
Even as I continued with ministry in church, helping and standing with the kids didn’t stop in my life. In 2018 while in China, I divinely met Sister Anni Wang, whom God has given a call to help orphans and the kids in need. Our visions matched and we continue in the mission of helping orphans. By the end of 2020 Spring Forth Charity International – Uganda in which I’m a co-director was birthed. I’m blessed to serve and work with kids, helping them smile and attaining their future.
Thanks for your partnership
Blessings
